Customer Question

Good morning! Sorry for disturbing you but I have a question: In the process of doing an oil change, I stupidly drained the ATF pan instead. The ATF fluid is sitting, covered, in a oil pan drain. If I re-add the fluid, it will have small amounts of oil. Is this a problem?

Yes you do not want to add engine oil to the transmission.Best thing to do at this time is to service the transmission or you take the chance of damaging the transmission if you have engine oil in the transmission .
