Customer Question

2003 Forester. At bottom of interior rear view mirror is a direction indicator. Cannot find mention in the car's owner's manual or in the mechanics manual (possibly because it is called something else?). It is stuck on NE and never changes. How do I adjust it?
Secondly, pulled open door of compartment facing passenger seat and it almost fell out. Closes, but would like instructions on getting it back to where it belongs.

if the compass never changes direction then either the compass in the mirror itself has gone bad or the gps antenna it is connected to. generally it is the compass itself which will require replacement of the mirror.

as for the glovebox door can you take a photo of the door and attach it on here a few would be best so i can see if anything looks broken on it.
