I have a 2004 Subaru Legacy Anniversary edition sedan the problem is the gauge goes way high the down kinda teeter totters. We have change the thermostat sender sensor. If you can help please advice me.

How many miles on car ?
If the gauges is going up and down that means u need to check the coolant for air pocket, do a coolant service and change the thermostat itself if u never have in case is stick open and closed intermnietly
Have u checked the radiator cap
Has the water pump,been replaced , is there evidence of a leak
And I know it's hot know if untrue heater , to hot air come out

There is two of them one for computer and one for gauge which one was replacedThank you
