So the whole unit is out? Or just the sat?
It looks like the issue is going to be the unit itself, however I am going to open this up to the other experts.
Please don't reply or it will lock it to me and they won't see it. I am hoping someone has some first hand with this because I can't see where the issue would be without it being the unit itself.
Please be patient.
Check the fuse for the radio. It is on the drivers side, near your left knee. Make sure the radio is getting power. It should be labeled on the back side of the panel which fuse it is.
I see that you said the radio works which eliminates the fuse. You could try calling the sat radio provider. They can ping your radio and make sure it is getting the signal. Otherwise, Subaru did have problems with the radio display units themselves. Escpecially if is equipped with navigation.
