At a gas station. Locked my Subaru crosstrek while I. Wife

Customer Question

At a gas station. Locked my Subaru crosstrek while I pimped. Wife opened door to throw trash out and the alarm went off. I hit the panic button twice to stop the alarm, now my car won't allow me to start it. The key won't turn over.

Hello and welcome to JustAnswer!

The panic button is used in a panic situation such as being approached by an unwanted person on a parking lot. The unlock button is what needs to be pressed to disarm security. If you press the unlock button or unlock the driver's door manually with the key that should disarm security.
