1. 2006 WRX 4piston front caliper & 2piston rear caliper set

Customer Question

1. 2006 WRX 4piston front caliper & 2piston rear caliper set will supposedly fit 2006 forester; but rear calipers require a different bracket to fit? If so, what bracket?
(Using 17" legacy wheels, so should be no clearance problem.)
2. Will aluminum LCA from WRX fit 2006 forester? If so, what year(s) WRX?

HI,

I am sorry that you have not been helped yet. I just came online and saw your question.

Ok, first I need to know if you are planning on using factory or aftermarket calipers and if so, what brand.

I'm talking to my mechanic about calipers. I believe he is planning aftermarket, possibly form suabrugenuineparts(?) I know they are not the original parts, because those cost approx $450/set for front & rear, each. Also the pics of the ones he selected are not painted & labeled "Subaru", as the originals are.

Also, re brackets for the rear calipers. I found that Kartboy sells them, so the 2-piston calipers will fit. (cost $225!!)

Hi,I will have to opt out as I am having no luck in finding out which brackets are needed. If another expert knows, they will post it here
