bottom bolt power steering pump on 2008 forester will not pass by radiator inlet manifold therefore cannot get pump out of bracket....weird

Hello I will help you with your question,

You remove the pump and adjusting bracket as a unit and then pull the pump out of the bracket after you have them out. Is this what you are trying to do or are you trying to get the pump out of the bracket in the vehicle?

That is a WRX but it shows how the pump and bracket come out together then you separate them.
