2005 2.5L subaru outback XT. Removing ignition coils from spark plugs. I found it impossible to get the rear divers side coil out due to clearance between engine and fender well. How can this be accomplished.

Hello I will help you with your question,

Remove the nuts from the engine mounts, the dogbone at the top rear of the engine and jack the engine up about an inch then you can pull the coils. Do not jack on the transmission pan if you have an automatic.
