2013 Outback Left running light bulb out. Went up thru wheel

Customer Question

Hi. 2013 Outback Left running light bulb burnt out. Went up thru wheel well and removed bulb but broke the plastic tab that held the bulb clip secure on bulb. I thought if I could easily remove the headlight assembly I might be able to figure out a jerryrig. Do I have to remove the bumper, etc to get the headlight assembly out?

Hi there,

Sorry to hear you are having issues with this Tom. Yes, I am afraid the front bumper cover will have to come off the car to access all of the bolts for the headlamp assembly.

HERE is a link to the removal procedure.
