Subaru Outback 2.5I: , I have a 2002 Subaru Outback 2.5.

Customer Question

Hello, I have a 2002 Subaru Outback 2.5. I got a CEL P0137 O2 Sensor Circuit Low Voltage Bank 1 Sensor 2. I replaced the O2 sensor for that bank. The car is somewhat better, but still stalls/sputters at times. I started looking at MAP sensor. What should I look at? No current CEL when it sputters etc.

Hello, my name is ***** ***** I'm here to help get your problem solved. Does it ever sputter at higher speeds or only at low speeds/idle? Thanks.
Customer: replied 1 year ago.

Seems to be mostly when it's lower speeds and sometimes at idle.

How many miles are on it? Have spark plugs been replaced recently?
Customer: replied 1 year ago.

211000, I will have to look at the service records. I bought it from my sister last summer and she had it service religiously, so I am sure it was done prior to my purchase.

I would start by replacing spark plugs and clean throttle body based on symptoms. You can get throttle body cleaner and use that with a rag to wipe it out good. Let me know how it turns out or if you have more questions, thanks.
