Hi,thanks for your question.Viscous coupler inside the transmission sounds like its shot,it's basically the center differential,it's packed with a silicone based fluid that breaks down over time which allows slipping on turns, once the fluid deteriorates you begin to feel binding ,especially on tight turns.
