Welcome to Pearl.com, I'm Kevin and I'm here to help resolve your Automotive issue.

Hello, sorry for your exhaust problems.

Other than replacing the rusted away converter, which is extremely costly, what I always recommend is cutting the flange off from both ends and welding a straight pipe in it's place, some muffler shops can even just weld in another flange so it still is separate from the center pipe in case it needs removal. Usually the repair costs around $100.00 at a muffler shop. A new converter can cost up to $900.00 for a factory unit.

Let me know if I can help you further, Kevin
