on a 2012 subaru impreza base model can you put factory cruise in the steering wheel? is the wiring there to install the controls?

Thank you. You can add factory cruise to this vehicle, but it will be very expensive. Unfortunately it is not as simple as putting in the controls. You would need to new steering wheel with the controls, there are a few wiring issues, but the biggest part is the computer. You would need to have the modules replaced in the vehicle and programmed to be able to communicate with the cruise and the ABS/VDC system. You will easily get into the thousands of dollars to fix this.
