HiI have a 2005 subaru outback auto. Car shudders when driven slow while turning. I put in the FWD fuse and it eliminated the problem. Tranny fluid has never been changed - car has 140,000 miles. Should I replace the rear housing on the tranny?thanks,-Jay
Optional Information: Year: 2005 Make: Subaru Model: Outback Engine: 2.5i Already Tried: installed FWD fuse, problem is gone.
Welcome to Pearl.com, I'm Kevin and I'm here to help resolve your Automotive issue.Hello, before replacing the transfer clutches and solenoid I would find a dealer or repair shop that can perform a Wynns Transmission flush including their Shudder Guard additive. I have corrected about 75% of Subaru binding issues by performing this service before any major repair. Once they flush the ATF and then add the Shudder Guard, drive the car for at least 50 miles before determining if the service worked. The service costs around $150.00.Let me know if I can help you further, Kevin
