my 2008 Impreza isn't delivering washer fluid to the nozzles. Should I drain and blow out the hose? would I hear a noise if the switch was operating? I pull the lever and it's silent... Could it be a fuse?

Hello I will help you with your question,

Check the motors at the bottom of the washer bottle when you activate the washers with the switch.

if they are not running let me know and I will get the fuse numbers for you to check, other wise you would hear the pump running and should have at least a dribble if the hose or nozzle was clogged.

Let me know how I can help

Thank you

I'll go do that. I'll need another body, so it may be a little while!

Ah, Murphy the Mechanic's Law! I had JUST bought it used and it had not been driven in a while. There seems to have just been air in the hose... I was able to pour in more fluid and it eventually flowed. Thanks for your help, anyway. It was worth the $29 to just to have an expert to ask on a Saturday. I'll be back to this site again - I also have a 2010 Outback.

Glad you got it running, sometimes there is scum in the bottom of the bottle so for future reference the motors pull out of grommets in the bottle and you can clean the screens and the bottle bottom.

I am here if you need help most of the time so just let me know if you have further questions

Thank you
