Hi, originally Subaru wanted the bumper removed to replace the bulb but the new directions have you access te bulb by pulling the wheel well back and going in from there.

What does pulling the wheel back mean?

Kevin C :

Wheel well mldg..give me one minute and I will attach the pic and directions right here to make it esy for you, is that okay?

Kevin C :

Here you go

Kevin C :

May be easier to gain access if you can lift the wheel up and remove the tire but no a necessity

I tried to remove the clips but it's not obvious how to do it. If I pry with a screwdriver I am afraid I will break them. What is the secret to removing the clips?
Expert:  Kevin C. replied 5 years ago.

Take 2 screw drivers and pry on each side of the inner clips, when the inner clips pull up, the outer section should come right out as well.

Ok Kevin. I got it done but this was one of the more annoying jobs I have ever done!
Expert:  Kevin C. replied 5 years ago.

I agree, you have to have thin hands and fingers to get up in there..welcome to my world LOL.

Glad its fixed!
