That may just be a bad coolant temperature sensor. Here is the location of it along with the test for that code.

 

 

ENGINE COOLANT TEMPERATURE SENSOR

REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION

  1. Remove Air Intake Duct.

  • Disconnect connector from engine coolant temperature sensor.
  • Remove Engine coolant temperature sensor.
  • Installation is in the reverse order of removal. Tightening Torque: 25 ±3 N.m (18.1 ±2.2 ft-lb) .
