I have a story and a half (Cape) house where we will be removing a section of walls as follows:
Span 1. - 10'-0" bearing to bearing (LVL 3-1/2"W X 9-1/4"deep)
Span2. 12'-0" bearing to bearing (LVL 3-1/2"W X 11-1/4"deep)
Span 3. 12'6" bearing to bearing (LVL 3-1/2" X 11-7/8"deep)Are the size microlam above acceptable for preliminary specification? Contractor will confirm bearing to bearing and load at the time beam is ordered.
