lifting a house to place basement under. figuring cribbing from girder to past outside bearing wall with four 12 deep timbers for secondary timber spacing equally under floor perpendicular and under girder and pri***** *****fting beams that are parallel to girder, one under each non bearing outside wall and two equal space in the middle of 27ft girder and two primary beams span to jack with cribbing under outside of house. The house girder to outside bearing wall is 12 ft. I need clear span under basement to dig and need safe distance to crib on outside of house so soil does not sluff off under cribbing when cut in for footings 9ft hole under house. from girder I am figuring secondary beam to be 19 ft long. House bearing wall is dead and live load of 20,000 lb.
what width of 12 deep built up timber do I need for four secondary jacking beams under four different cribs.
