I'm constructing a mezzanine to hold up 5000 lbs I want to know the min. size I beams and channel iron for floor stringers that I can use to support this weight.
JA: OK. Tell me a bit more about what's going on so we can help you best.
Customer: I'm going to store greases and main engine lube oils in 5 gallon pails
JA: Is there anything else important you think the Structural Engineer should know?
Customer: I'm going to weld these I beams between four vertical I beams already part of a structure the size of the mezzanine is about 12'x12'.
