I am pouring concrete porch over open area. My contractor

Customer Question

I am pouring concrete porch over open area. My contractor has framed the area with 2 x 4 walls and plans to lay steel decking on these. The concrete will be poured 4 inches thick with surface area of 5' wide and 22' long. The concrete will pour over to fill blocks. Will this be sufficient to hold calculated pour weight of over 10,000 pounds? Also, I was thinking of sealing the decking with liquid rubber before pouring the concrete for seal purposes. Your thoughts on this?
JA: OK. Is there anything else important you think the Structural Engineer should know?
Customer: The underneath area will serve as a safe room.
