Pearl, I need beam sizing done. Clerestory roof; 24'w x 30'

Customer Question

Hi, Pearl, I need beam sizing done. Clerestory roof; 24'w x 30' l; 4/12 pitch; 100psf ground snow load; beam supporting roof is 30'long with bearing at both ends, 6'-6" in from east end, 9'-10" from west end, with a 13'-8" clear span in the center. Would like a flu-lam of ganged up LVL sized.
JA: OK. Is there anything else important you think the Structural Engineer should know?
Customer: The beam is not centered on the building. It runs parallel to the 30' wall and is 10'-4" from the lower (south) wall, and 13'-8" fromthe upper (north)wall. Gained up LVL is preferable due to the remoteness of the site and difficulty of getting lifting equipment to site.

I can size this for gravity loading. Do you have a deflection limit for the beam?
