Expert:  StructuralEng replied 5 months ago.
How does it sit on the slab?
Customer: replied 5 months ago.
It will be leveled and bolted to the slab. 55 tons one end 45 tons other end and the remaining 150 tons evenly distributed.

Do you know anything about the soil?
Do you have an allowable bearing pressure and su grade modulus?
What is the size of each end that has the 55 and 45 ton loads?
Customer: replied 5 months ago.
There is existing concrete at the location where I intend to pour this slab. We will be busting it out next week and be able to do the su grade modulus test. Clay and probably water with all the rain we have had lately.
This is a very large lathe with headstock at one end 55 tons and tailstock at the other end at 45 tons. The remaining 100 tons is bed ways and the lathe will be able to handle a 50 ton part between centers.

Does this piece of equipment have any settlement related requirements or vibration criteria?

Customer: replied 5 months ago.
We intend to isolate this slab from the rest of the building existing slab and over head crane column pads. We will be doing some electrical run out readings after turning and burnishing bearing and seal fits.

Assuming a subgrade modulus of 150 pci, 18" thick with a fairly robust reinforcing steel layout
