My plans call c15 x 33.9 steel beam to span 20 feet 6 inches

Customer Question

my plans call for a c15 x 33.9 steel beam to span 20 feet 6 inches on an exterior wall that I am adding a 10 foot addition out. There will be about 8 feet height of brick above to be supported as well. Could I use 2 x 12 syp and Glue/bolt them together as a substitute for the steel. The steel weighs 700 pounds and costs about $800.
