Need to beef up cantilevered deck joists top and bottom

Customer Question

Need to beef up cantilevered deck joists for new top and bottom surface screws and dry rot issues.
If I were to bolt pressure treated 2X12s on the side of each joist, what would be the
bolt pattern to get the most help out of the new pressure treated nailers.

Are they existing joists rotted? What is the size of the existing joists?
