I have a 1 3/4 X 9 5/8 LVL with a 28ft. 8 1/2in. span. Joists are 2x8's, 16in. o.c. with an 11ft span from rim joist to side of LVL. Dead load is 40psf. How many intermediate supports do I need and what size of columns and footings should they be?
