Hello

Expert:  StructuralEng replied 1 year ago.

What is the joist length on each side of the beam? Is it supporting one floor or two? What about the attic?

Will it support any ceramic tile?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
one side 13', other side 8'. 8' length is just attic. 13' is a bedroom. No tile. originally it was a high roof line (7x12 pitch) that I converted into a bedroom.

supporting on floor.
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
supporting one floor above. it was originally a one floor house with a high roof. broke into the ceiling, made a stair case into then the attic and converted all the waisted space into a bedroom. the 8' section in the end of the roof line so nothing could be done with it. now that space is filled with insulation on top of the 2x6 and sheetroom on bottom.
