Hello. I can help. Can I get back to you tomorrow?

Expert:  StructuralEng replied 1 year ago.

Hello. What is the span of the slab?

Expert:  StructuralEng replied 1 year ago.

What is the location of the bars in the depth of the slab?

4' on center is much too far apart for code provisions. It will allow too much cracking and won't provide even minimum reinforcement

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
The span is 8 feet. The rebar is #4 bar 2 feet on center
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
The depth of the rebar is between 2-3 inches from the bottom
Expert:  StructuralEng replied 1 year ago.

18" is the maximum allowable spacing.

Expert:  StructuralEng replied 1 year ago.

You'll need #5 bars at 18" on center maximum. I'll get the allowable load on that now.

Expert:  StructuralEng replied 1 year ago.

That will get you a live load capacity of 200 psf.
