Customer Question

I'm building a tree house for my children. The first level is approximately 150 sq feet. The second level will be approximately 60 sq feet. The one end I have 6x6x16 post that will support the second level and also the roof. The post on the other end go through the first floor and are secured between 3 2x8x12 with 1/2" x 12" thru bolts. I'm not concerned about the 16' post that go all the way into the ground but will the post supported by the 2x8's be strong enough?
