Customer Question

In a wooden apartment building in Vancouver B.C. circa 1950's [ 12' x 17' living room 2nd floor, with standard joists] , I would like to assemble a pre-fab music practice booth 8' x10' which would weigh in at approx 2500 lbs , evenly distributed + upright piano 400 lbs.
This would sit near the the corner load bearing walls out about 1 1/2 to 2 feet.
I'm most concerned about the load stress over time. The building seems pretty strongly built and I live over a carport.

I could go for and 8'x8' booth as well. That's 20% lighter; however I could really use best the larger booth.
