Okay I accepted your other answer and left feedback. Based on your previous answer I want to size the joists that I would use on the Den side, the ceiling joists would run about 17' and I would like to be able to use the space above for storage. Here is your response in case you need it.You can use a 7" x 20" LVL with a minimum Fb of 3100 psi and a minimum E of 2000 ksi.

That's over designed for strength, but I limited deflection to L/400 under a full design load.
