Hi again, Steve.I know why you're tempted to use 'reservar', because 'para' comes before it, but it seems that 'reserves' is the subjunctive of reservar and it is being used here because you are being advised to book the reservations before time runs out and this is an uncertainty--maybe you'll get the reservations and maybe you won't, if they're at a premium. In my opinion it IS an odd construction for this sentence, though.
