Hi, "Entonces, los coches, con su placa, el último número

Resolved Question:

Hi,

"Entonces, los coches, con su placa, el último número de su placa corresponde a un día."

"Los martes no circula el uno y el ocho."

In english, we would make plural "their license plates". But in this sentence, in spanish, do you agree with the singular usage there?

Also, she said 1 andXXXXXon tuesdays. Why is 'circula' singular?

Thank you!

It should be...con sus placas because it is los coches. Plural matches plural. Also, circula is correct because it is referring to an individual. It is like saying...On Tuesdays, one does not drive at 1 and 8.

Are you a spanish teacher or native spanish speaker? Or neither?

To say one does not drive at 1 or 8 is like this:

No se circula a la 1 o a las 8.
