if i have a property in spain and sell it and buy another one can i put it directly in the name of my children so when i die they dont have to pay tax as it will be legally theirs
Hi Sir, I am an spanish attorney. The answer is yes, you could do that, no problem for it. Anyway, you should know, that the transmission taxes from you to your sons is 99 per cent bonificated in most of cases, so may be no so good idea, to do it now.
If you tell me wich is exactly the part of Spain it is I could tell you how is exactly the law
But answering your question, you could do it perfectly right, an legal, now.
I DO NOT UNDERSTAND THE TRANSMISSION TAX AND WHY ITS NOT A GOOD IDEA AT THE MOMENT
Experience: Spanish Attorney.
