if a client buy a product from you and then after 60 days do

Resolved Question:

if a client buy a product from you and then after 60 days do not what it anymore and what a refund it. must you refund the client in full the sales document say that if the client cancel their are a 100% penelity thanks

Not exactly sure what the product is, but basically, if you did not give a money back guarantee or an extended cooling off period of 60 days or there is no material defect on the product that is due to manufacturing error, I cannot see a construction where you are obliged to pay anything back to the consumer.

It would be nice if I could drive a car for 60 days and then take it back and claim a full refund, wouldn't.

So, unless you committed some breach of promise, or promised a full refund within x amount of days, there is no reason why the consumer will be entitled to give the product back for a full refund just because it does not suit him anymore.

the lady bought a tombstone and a set of kerbs extra to put on a old grave we went to the new grave were we put up the new tombstone and the we went to the old grave where we had to put in the kerbs ad the grave she want as to varnish the old tombstone so that the tombstone looks new we said that we can not varnish the old tombstone and that we have to take the tombstone of and let it be re polish she bought the tombstone and the kerbs on 06/10/2009 and then she wnt to cancel in dec 2009 the kerbs there where nothing wrong with the kerbs.we tod her that we do not except cancelations and that we wil se if we can help her we told here that we will pay her 85% of the amount back and that we will ask her 25% cancelation fee then she start to tread us that this is not aloud under the south africa law
