Microsoft Surface 13 pro. Refuses to connect to net; did it on it's own; working properly for months before
JA: Just to clarify, what's the exact model of your computer? And what operating system are you running?
Customer: Exact model I told you. OS is windows 10 pro
JA: Have you installed any updates recently?
Customer: No updates; a couple of apps over the past 4 weeks
JA: Anything else you want the computer expert to know before I connect you?

I am sorry for the problem. There are a few things you may need to do to solve the problem. First, you can disable and re-enable the WiFi network adapter. Here are the instructions:

1. Move the mouse cursor over the Windows Start button located in the bottom left corner and then right-click it and select Network Connections
2. A new window will open. Right-click on the network adapter called "Wi-Fi" and then select "Disable"

3. After about 10 seconds, right-click it again, and select "Enable"

4. Now check if you can reconnect to a wireless network and access the Internet
