My messages are not coming down. Error message 0x800706bb

Customer Question

My messages are not coming down. Error message 0x800706bb was received. What should I do to receive my new messages?
JA: Just to clarify, how often have you been getting this particular message?
Customer: Just today. I turned off my computer, and turned it on again twice and received the same message.
JA: Have you installed any updates recently?
Customer: I don't think so....I'm far from being tech savvy. I'm afraid to accept Java updates or any others that are offered.
JA: Anything else you want the computer expert to know before I connect you?
Customer: Of course there is, but I'd rather get this resolved ASAP. I will say, that since summer, I get these CONSTANT pop=ups re: my password. Not sure why this started happening.

Thank you. Outlook 2010 is an email client program. Can you tell me the email address

you are using inside it?

Expert:  Byron replied 5 months ago.

If you're getting errors retrieving messages, they are coming from your e-mail provider.

Expert:  Byron replied 5 months ago.

A lot of email providers consider Outlook 2010 to be an insecure app and that can be the cause of your pop-ups. That's why I'm asking who your email

provider is?
