Recently, I can't connect with my friend via Skype translator. For many months no problems, but recently I get an instant message that states "Sorry we're having problems connecting. Please try your call again. She can call me on regular Skype and we are able to connect. Please advise

The translator for skype is still in its infancy.

Try going to the contact and turn the translate feature off, and then turn off (close it completely) skype.

Then turn skype back on (open skype back up) go to the contact who you want to translate, and turn the translate button back on.

Then try to make the call again.

If the problem persists, you might have to UNinstall Skype, and then do a computer restart, and then Reinstall Skype.

The translator doesnt have any advanced troubleshooting.

Its most likely a glitch in the translator feature software code.

Therefore, all we can do is report the issue, and allow for Skye to update the code, and issue an update to fix the error you are getting.
