My Adobe PhotoShop elements 11 continuously states that it has "stopped working" I removed the software from my computer and reinstalled it thinking that might solve the problem but the answer is the same. What can I do??
JA: How much experience do you have with this particular machine?
Customer: If you are referring to my computer , I have had it for several years.

Please try one of the solutions below :

Solution 1 : Try launching PhotoShop elements 11 with anti-virus off.

Solution 2 :

  • Close Elements.
  • Launch the Photoshop Elements Welcome Screen and hold down ctrl + alt + shift as you click Editor.
  • Continue to hold the keys until you see a message box asking if you want to delete Photoshop Elements settings file; click Yes. Elements will open with default preferences.

Please try to restore your windows 7 computer by following the steps below :

1-Click Start > All Programs > Accessories > System Tools program group.

2-Click on the System Restore program icon.

3-Click Next > on the Restore system files and settings window.

4-Choose the restore point that you want to use. You should use the restore point with a date when you still don't have the problem you are facing now.
