For Mr. Med.
My computer is taking over 5 minutes to start up. (the time from when I start until it reaches a usable "desktop").
And when I get to the desktop I have many hangups with Firefox & Windows Live Mail.
Please Help Me Again !!!!

Since "just Answer" worked on my computer this morning, every time I try to open my Microsoft Word or Excel files I get a popup that states "AVG Program Deactivator" is keeping me from opening these files.
Does this make any sense to you???

It sounds as though a third party application is preventing some of your programs from opening. Was there a tool or utility installed recently?

I m sorry about the issue, please give me a few hours and i will connect to your computer and fix the issue, you can try a system restore, right click on start, in the search box type : system restore then click on it and follow the onscreen instructions.

To restore you windows 10 Please follow the steps below :

  1. Right-click (or press and hold) the Start button, and then select Control Panel.
  2. Search Control Panel for Recovery.
  3. Select Recovery > Open System Restore > Next.
  4. Choose the restore point that you want to use. You should use the restore point with a date when you still don't have the problem you are facing now.
