Do you want me to send files? if so, which?
Customer: replied 3 months ago.
I did not mean to click on securely connect. I can follow written instructions usually.
Customer: replied 3 months ago.
What's happening?
Expert:  technicalcat replied 3 months ago.

What exact steps are you using to scan , and use the OCR software in your acrobat? If you are not sure, please check the link below for acrobat DC. Is this what you are doing? Note that your acrobat must execute the OCR (optical character recognition) on your scanned PDF to convert it to text. I also need to know if you are using the latest Acrobat DC , or another version. To check this, try pressing F1, or going to help, then about.

ok I switched to remote. Now what?
Expert:  technicalcat replied 3 months ago.

Sorry, but it appears the payment has failed for the remote service. You can try a different payment method, or I can continue to help you without making a remote connection to your computer. It may take longer this way, but I think we could solve the problem either way.

Customer: replied 3 months ago.
I will do this without remote if possible
Customer: replied 3 months ago.
Dc seems to be correct
Customer: replied 3 months ago.
The ocr converted the text to banded boxes. I can only edit in the boxes. It' s about 20 pages scanned test. When I click on the side on convert whole thing it still comes only in boxes. Do you know what I'm talking about?
Customer: replied 3 months ago.
Hi, technician. Are you there? Thanks.
Expert:  technicalcat replied 3 months ago.

Are these boxes red in color?

Customer: replied 3 months ago.
no. I think they are blue.
Customer: replied 3 months ago.
should I try to copy and paste one? It may work. Maybe not
Expert:  technicalcat replied 3 months ago.

In your original question you mention getting into a document, however, now you are asking about editing boxes, so I'd need to make a remote connection to interact and see what's going on there. Let me know if you'd like to do this by accepting the remote offer, or if not, I can opt your question out to other experts.

Expert:  technicalcat replied 3 months ago.

sorry , it looks like there was another payment failure for the remote service.

Customer: replied 3 months ago.
The money is not accepted even though the first amount was. I can't call the bank now. Can I try the cut an d paste thing?
Expert:  technicalcat replied 3 months ago.

I don't see how cutting and pasting will work. However, you could try to use shift and print screen keys, and make a screen capture to send to me here. Do you know how to do that?

Customer: replied 3 months ago.
not really. How?
Customer: replied 3 months ago.
I thinkk I do. Actually. But tell me again.
Customer: replied 3 months ago.
I'll try.
Expert:  technicalcat replied 3 months ago.

What version of Windows are you running?

Customer: replied 3 months ago.
no. It just wanted me to print. So how?
Expert:  technicalcat replied 3 months ago.

Are you running Windows 7 or 8 or 10? Which one?

Customer: replied 3 months ago.
8.1
Expert:  technicalcat replied 3 months ago.

Pressing both the Windows and Print Screen key at the same time will capture the entire screen. This image will automatically be saved to a Screenshot folder inside of the Pictures library.

Do this, and then upload the picture to me as a reply here. thanks.

Customer: replied 3 months ago.
Where is the print screen key? I only know it on a mobile device
Expert:  technicalcat replied 3 months ago.

it is a key on your keyboard. please look for it near scroll lock and pause.

Customer: replied 3 months ago.
I'm feeling very stupid right now. Is it the one that is a box with wavy lines? I tried that ans the windows key but nothing happened.
Expert:  technicalcat replied 3 months ago.

I'm really thinking I need to make a remote connection to sort out this problem for you. Would you be able to use a different card for payment?

Customer: replied 3 months ago.
I might. But I have been here too long. I need to go into another room. Can I continue this in a couple hours? Thanks. I meana I can close this or not leave it open. How do I get back to it?
Expert:  technicalcat replied 3 months ago.

That's fine. Just reply back to me when you are ready to make the remote connection. The question will stay open. I will also be back online in a few hours. Thanks and sorry for the inconvenience, but sometimes the remote is the best or only way to go for problems like these.
