No you don't understand, I know how to do it. The object won't fill. I created a rounded rectangle with the rectangle too and did all those things in the links you sent, but the object just won't fill!!!!
Customer: replied 2 months ago.
None of my objects are filling no matter what I do.
Expert:  Isaac Franklin replied 2 months ago.

What happens when you try to fill them in?

Also, did this just start or did it ever work before now?

Customer: replied 2 months ago.
When I add color to the fill box on the tool bar, nothing happens at all. I never had this problem before.

Is your View set to outline, rather than one of the "preview" options?

Please check this, test again.

Go to your app data file, (both in local and roaming) find adobe, then right click illustrator folder. Rename it

Open illustrator and test again.

Where is my app data file? I already renamed the file, with save as, closed illustrator and open up the new one and the same thing, can't fill any objects.
Expert:  Isaac Franklin replied 2 months ago.

You cannot rename it if you are on the actual icon. they have to be renamed in the path i gave you.

are you on a windows version or a mac?

Expert:  Isaac Franklin replied 2 months ago.

Would you like me to help you locate the app data file? (it will be different if you use a windows or mac for navigation)
