I have been receiving the message "the book could not be opened" on four of my recent purchases. My Kindle
JA: How long has this been going on?
Customer: For the last three days, since my Kindle Fire died
JA: What troubleshooting have you tried?
Customer: removed and redownloaded the books, re-installed KINDLE FOR PC, re-installed KINDLE FOR IPAD
JA: How much experience do you have with this particular machine?
Customer: Which machine do you mean? I have been working with computers of all types since 1969

Do you get the error message on your Kindle and Kindle for PC and Kindle for iPad? (on all platforms)
