There is a permissions issue that is typically related to the Error 16.

Set permissions for both the SLStore and the Adobe PCD folders.

1. Set permissions for the SLStore folder

  • Use the Finder to navigate to Library/Application Support/Adobe/SLStore.

  • Control-click the folder and choose Get Info.

  • Expand the Sharing & Permissions section.

  • Click the lock icon in the lower-right corner. Enter your administrator user name and password ***** prompted, and then click OK.

  • Set permissions:

    • System: read/write
    • Admin: read/write
    • Everyone: read/write
  • Click the Gear icon, and select Apply to Enclosed Item. Close the Get Info dialog box​

2. Set permissions for the Adobe PCD folder

  • Use the Finder to navigate to Library/Application Support/Adobe/Adobe PCD.

  • Control-click the folder and choose Get Info.

  • Expand the Sharing & Permissions section.

  • Click the lock icon in the lower-right corner. Enter your administrator user name and password ***** prompted, and then click OK.

  • Set permissions:

    • System: read/write
    • Admin: read only
    • Everyone: read only
  • Click the Gear icon, and select Apply to Enclosed Item. Close the Get Info dialog box.
