Hello and thank you for choosing JUSTANSWER.com

.

The floppy disc the computer is asking for is called a Password ***** Disc.

YOu had to have already MADE this disc, BEFORE you lost your password.

YOu have to be LOGGED into this computer to make a Password ***** Disc.

If you try to make this disc on a different computer, it will not work.

.

Its a catch 22, if you have not made the disc proir to forgetting the password, then this method will not work, and you need to find a different method of reseting the password.

.

There are other methods, but they can get kind of complex pretty quick..

So...how technically savy are you?

Do you think you could download a program from the internet (called UltimateBootCD), and then burn a disc (CD or DVD) with this program on it, and then BOOT your computer from the disc you just made? That is the method you will be using to reset the password, since you don't have the password ***** floppy disc mentioned above.
