I downloaded 10 to replace 7. 4 days later I tried to go

I downloaded 10 to replace 7. 4 days later I tried to go back to 7. System said it could not due to some missing files. I've tried to make the best of this situation but the DVD app doesn't work (can't read the disk), my hp5514 will not scan into the computer even tho it is online and the print function works OK. There are other small problems but I'm trying to work thru them. Please HELP!!!!
