I had Amin rights on my home PC. When I switched to User, I can no longer make changes as the "yes" box is greyed out, even Restore. Hhow do i regain access to administrator right in windows 10?

In that case, one of them must have administrator rights. Are you able to access both of them?

OK.

Access the one that should have administrator rights. After that, start the Command Prompt and type this command:

control userpasswords2

and press Enter.

It will open a window will all user accounts listed as well as show you their group. Let me know which group you see next to each account.

Sorry for the delay - I stepped away from the computer for a while.

It looks something happened to the main user account that had administrative privileges. I have encountered this problem before. To solve it, you will need to use a Windows 10 disc.
