I have Acrobat II, which I purchased several years ago.

I have Acrobat II, which I purchased several years ago. Recently I received a pop-up to update my Acrobat Reader. When I did, I was updated to Acrobat Reader DC. Now when I open a PDF file, I get a menu bar. When I click on the Printer icon, my printer dialogue opens. I select All Pages and OK. I then get a dialogue box that says the document can't be printed. Then another message that says no pages were selected. The only way I can print the document is to open Acrobat, then open the document through Acrobat, and then print. What is happening? It appears Acrobat Reader DC is now the default program to open pdf files, but will not let me print anything.
