Hello and thank you for choosing JUSTANSWER.com

IM afraid you have a corrupted file system. Most likely caused by the WIN10 upgrade.

SO, HOW do you fix this?

Its not that simple, and you will NEED the install files for WIN10, so you can BOOT from that, instead of the hard drive.

HOwever, and this is IMPORTANT.....how OLD is this computer/laptop?

So, is it possible to say that your hard drive might be failing?

How can I test it?
Expert:  Quiksilver07070 replied 1 year ago.

Some computer has a BIOS utility that will allow you to test the integrity of the hard drive. But yours likely does NOT.

You can get a bootable tool, that will test the integrity of the hard drive, like PARTEDMAGIC.
