I've downloaded openoffice.org with success, but it doesn't

I've downloaded openoffice.org with success, but it doesn't show up on my desktop nor on my c: drive, program files, no openoffice folder. I'm on Windows XP and have not had this problem with other downloads. Suggestions???

I'm sorry about the issue. After downloading OpenOffice, did you see the downloaded file called Appache_OpenOffice.., so you can open it and install it?

I opened Apacheopenoffice several time with success (so it said) but nothing on the desktop or in the c: derive.

Nothing shows either on the desktop or on c: Also just checking openoffice and apacheopenoffice again, several different websites show up listed as openoffice. And I can't open the Apache or openoffice,org site. Need to leave. If you have an answer I'll check tomorrow AM.

Do you mean when you go to the website www.openoffice.org , that website does not open at all?

What internet browser program are you using, such as Internet Explorer, Firefox, Chrome, etc.? Thank you.
